There is no shortage of heroes when tragedy strikes. The tragic collision of a cargo ship into The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore early Tuesday morning has prompted The Atlantic City Coast Guard to join for assistance in the aftermath. The accident happened at 1:30am. Crews and divers were immediately dispatched as several vehicles fell into the chilly waters of The Patapsco River. Also, construction crews were active at midspan filling potholes in the early morning hours and many are unaccounted for in the initial searches. Two people were pulled from the water according to Baltimore Fire Chief James Wallace, one in serious condition. Maryland Governor Wes Moore (D) issued an early statement saying he believed it wasn't a "terrorist act," but appeared to be a tragic accident. Investigations are on-going.
